September 19 – 21 – Plantation Field Trials. We will once again be in Unionville for the Plantation Field Trials with several of our alpacas and a our full line of fine alpaca products. Over 50 vendors including local wineries, Victory Brewing, plenty of great food, kids activities and International equestrian events such as jumping, cross country and so much more! Come out, enjoy the three-day events, and visit with us!
September 27 -28 – National Alpaca Farm Days. Come join us as we celebrate National Alpaca Farm Days here at Grist Mill Farm. We will be open on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Enjoy free hot dogs, refreshments, shop in our farm store and of course, meet our alpacas up close and personal! Don’t forget to bring your cameras as there will be plenty of photo opportunities!
October 4 – 5 Unionville Fair. Last year was our first time as a vendor at this event and we had so much fun that we are coming back again this year. We plan to bring a few of our alpacas to join in the fun. Come out and spend some time with our alpacas and browse our full line of fine alpaca clothing for both men and women, accessories, socks, blankets, yarn and so much more!
October 17 – 19 Fairhill International. We will be in Fairhill Maryland for this annual three day event, and will be located in the vendor tent. November 8 – 9 Annual Open Holiday Open House at Grist Mill Farm! Join us once again as we hold our Holiday Open House at Grist Mill Farm. Kick off your holiday shopping and enjoy complimentary food and refreshments as you shop! We have many gorgeous new additions to our clothing line for both men and women as well as new Grist Mill Farm long and short sleeve pigmented dyed t-shirts, our new Altera sock line and so much more. Something for everyone on your list! We will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
December 5 – 6 38th Annual Kimberton Waldorf Craft Show. This is not your run of the mill school craft show. This is three buildings filled with juried craftsmen! Everything from candy makers, jewelers, wood crafters, potters, you name it! We will be there with our full line of alpaca clothing, accessories, yarn, socks, blankets and much more. Hours are Friday evening (adults only) December 5th from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. then on Saturday, (children are welcome on Saturday) December 6th from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. You won’t want to miss this event.
December 4 – 13 Chester County Best Kept Secrets Holiday Highlights Tour. We will be open everyday at Grist Mill Farm for your holiday shopping! Tickets for the tour can be purchased at Grist Mill Farm for $ 8.00 per person. $1.00 will benefit the Chester County Hero Fund to support fallen first responders. The tour will include 15 businesses in the area. You will receive a tour guide and map to 14 selected businesses and 1 restaurant. Your packet will include coupons, as well as descriptions of each business and what they will be offering. Some will have refreshments, tours, demos, raffles and of course plenty of holiday spirit!
